Grace City Ministries, also known as Grace City Church, was birthed out of divine vision and obedience. In December of 2024, the Lord gave the vision to Senior Pastor Elder Zacarrii Hamby and Executive Pastor Elder Kimberly Hamby to launch out by planting a church in the Dayton area. In response to that calling, they officially established Grace City Ministries in January of 2025, setting the foundation for what would soon become a growing and impactful ministry.
Grace City Church held its inaugural worship service on Easter Sunday in 2025 in the Zimmerman Chapel at United Theological Seminary. On that very first Sunday, six faithful individuals joined, marking the humble yet powerful beginning of a vibrant community of believers.
From its inception, Grace City Church has been committed to its mission: to proclaim salvation through Jesus Christ, nurture believers in their faith, meet the needs of the local community, and equip disciples for ministry in the kingdom and beyond. With the guiding slogan, “Serving with grace and compassion,” the church has remained rooted in love, service, and spiritual growth.
Grace City continued to gather in Zimmerman Chapel until July 2025. On the second Sunday of that month, the ministry reached a significant milestone by holding its first service in its permanent home at 111 Rusby Avenue. This transition marked not only physical growth but also a deepening of the church’s presence and impact within the West Carrollton community.
Since relocating, Grace City has continued to thrive, growing to approximately 25 members. With a strong foundation and a clear sense of purpose, the church looks ahead with great anticipation, believing God for even greater works. As Grace City moves forward, it remains committed to advancing the kingdom and embracing all that God has in store for its future. We are committed to "Serving with Grace and Compassion".
